Lee Won-Ik visits Ankara Governor Vasip Şahin

Lee Won-Ik, the ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to Ankara, visited Ankara Governor Vasip Şahin.

Ankara Governor Vasip Şahin and South Korean Ambassador Lee Won-Ik have held a meeting in Ankara. They discussed the steps that can be taken for the economic, cultural and tourism cooperation of the two countries, as well as bileteral relations.

During the meeting, the ambassador requested the continued interest and support of the Governor to Koreans residing in Ankara and Koreans visiting Ankara.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received Ambassador Lee Won-ik of the Republic of Korea at the Presidential Complex, on Dec 23, 2020.

Ambassador Lee, who presented his letter of credence to President Erdoğan at the reception, previously served as Director-General of the International Policy Bureau at the Ministry of National Defense of theRepublic of Korea.
