About Us

It's never too (trans)late.

HELLO EVERYONE!

“Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle.”
                                        - Christian D. Larson

CevirWomen is a voluntary university platform that aims to offer experience to female students and graduates of translation and linguistic studies.

The platform was founded in July 2018, and has since launched an English, Turkish, Korean and Arabic version of its website.

We gather students from all around the world to help provide them with the skills to translate texts from source to target languages. After proofing a translated text, we share the final product on our website and social media accounts, along with the translator’s name.

The platform is not only beneficial for students but also for the target audience. The target audience can reach new pieces of information and news around the world through our website. They can stay updated with CevirWomen.

Furthermore, as a student, if you have articles, essays about fashion, politics, medical, art and more, you can send them to us. So, we can share it on our website and post on social media. At the same time, we can translate it and publish it on our Korean, Turkish, Arabic websites. So, you can share your ideas with the world.

What is the meaning of CevirWomen?

The founder of CevirWomen is coming from Turkey/Turkiye.  The word, "Translator" in Turkish is "Çevirmen," so, she played the word as "ÇevirWomen."
