Bonnie Blair was born in 1964 in New York, USA. Blair, learned ice skate when she was only two years old, her all family were talented in speed skating but Bonnie was something else. And now she is one of the top skaters of her era, and one of the most decorated athletes in Olympic history.

In 1984, Bonnie competed in the "Winter Olympics " in Sarajevo, she didn't win any medals there but giving up is not in Blair's blood. And with that, she had an incredible comeback. For years later in 1988 she won gold in the 500 metres, and in 1992 she won gold medals both in the 500 metres and 1,000 metres. Unfortunately, the next "Winter Olympics" took place after two years because of the change in the rules.

So in 1994 Bonnie, won gold medals in the same two events. However, our girl Blair doesn't compete just to win. She says: " Winning doesn't always mean being the first. Winning makes sense when you do better than you have done before. " With these words of her, we can understand that she is not just a speed skater.

She is far from that, she is more... Sadly, Bonnie Blair retired from skating in 1995. After that, she became a motivational speaker. She has been inducted into the "Chicagoland Sports Hall Of Fame", the "Wisconsin Athletic Hall Of Fame", and the United States Hall Of Fame.

If you are curious about how all of her dreams came true, she has something to say about too. Our strong speed skater Bonnie Blair says; "Four key words- helped my dreams come true. They are dedication, balance, risk and love." She gave us the key to the dream world. So why don't you opening it?

I don't know if you go as fast as she can (author laughs) but force to the base! Let your dreams come up and watch how you turn into an all different person; more powerful, wiser and unstoppable...
